The architecture, close link between space and garden
When François Goffinet talks about music of the space, he associates in the same reflection harmony which needs to be created between architecture and garden and the one which links garden with nature. The architect's expertise is required once a project is underway and upon design premises. The architect is actually an alter ego as he contributes to the balance between the house and the structures of the garden. Sometimes, as observed in the large project in Danilovka, close to Moscow, a certain number of buildings have to be completely redesigned and others built from scratch to transform farmlands into a real park. Often, the architect and François Goffinet will design buildings together, such as garden sheds, pool-houses, greenhouses or other garden structures like gates or trellis. Their collaboration is close up to the intervention of artisans.
