Poetry of garden ornament
Like music, the ornament is a garden embellishment which highlights and supports the composition of the entity. In an orchestra of professions and expertise, François Goffinet creates a number of these ornaments which contribute, as much as the flower composition, to the essence of the garden. Gates, trellis, wooden or metal palisade, stone fountains or sculptures, terracotta pots or cast-iron pots, lanterns or a boat moored in its shadow - each space can give rise to an item designed according to the long traditions of these professions: blacksmiths, sculptors, stone masons, fountain-makers, lighting specialists, carpenters and woodworkers. History is thus made, as is detailed here by the creation of a monumental sculpture for a park in Canada.
